You need certain other software for your fedora.I have listed out some basic and how to install them.
Before installing you should upgrade the repository
package with Third Party Repositories
# rpm -Uhv http://rpm.livna.org/livna-release-7.rpm
Use yum with root as user in your command line. Yum can automatically download
and install a program and all of its dependencies.
1.Nvidia Driver
# yum install kmod-nvidia
2.Macromedia Flash/Shockwave plugin
download first rpm given below
http://linuxdownload.adobe.com/adobe-release/adobe-release-i386-1.0-1.noarch.rpm
then install using:
# rpm -ihv adobe-release-i386-1.0-1.noarch.rpm
3.Java J2RE and Mozilla plug-in
download first Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6 Update 2 (or newer version):
http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp
# yum -y install compat-libstdc++-33
# sh ./jre-6u2-linux-i586-rpm.bin
Mozilla plug-in
# ln -s /usr/java/jre1.6.0_02/plugin/i386/ns7/libjavaplugin_oji.so /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins
4.Microsoft Truetype Fonts
download first RPM from this link:
http://www.mjmwired.net/resources/files/msttcorefonts-2.0-1.noarch.rpm
# rpm -ivh msttcorefonts-2.0-1.noarch.rpm
5.Adobe Acrobat
download first RPM from this link:
http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2_allversions.html
rpm -ivh AdobeReader_enu-7.0.9-1.i386.rpm
There is a problem with v7.0.9 (and v7.0.8) that will prevents Acrobat from working
properly.To fix, edit as root:
gedit /usr/local/Adobe/Acrobat7.0/bin/acroread
make following changes:

Multimedia in fedora core 7
To install 3rd party players which can play mp3 and other windows supported format like avi and dat etc., do following steps:

Before installing realplayer,compact-libstdc++-33 libraries should be installed.
yum install compat-libstdc++-33.
Download RealPlayer 10.0 GOLD from: http://www.real.com/linux/.
rpm -ivh RealPlayer10GOLD.rpm
Xine Multimedia Player
yum -y install xine xine-lib xine-skins xine-lib-extras-nonfree libdvdcss

Do you think Google secure?
As the name comes in mind of Google (a brand name),then we think its secure but it is no longer.Today Times Of India reported a news article "Google faces hacker threat" based on CERTIN (Indian Computer Emergency Response Team) warning.You can read this article here
CERTIN,the prime Indian official agency on computer security, has issued a warning that Google and its products are vulnerable to hacking.It has given severity rating high.
It says :"Multiple vulnerabilities have been reported in a wide range of Google
products such as Google Search Appliance, Google (Blogspot) Polls
Application, Google's Picasa photo-sharing software, Google's Urchin
Analytics service, including a persistent e-mail theft issue affecting
the widely used GMail service".
It states that there are Cross-site request forgery (CSRF) Vulnerability in Gmail ,Cross-site scripting Vulnerability in Google Search Appliance ,Cross-site scripting Vulnerability in Google (Blogspot) Polls Application ,Cross-site scripting Vulnerability in Google (Blogspot) Polls Application and Cross-site scripting Vulnerability in Google's Urchin Analytics service.
It also issues some preventive measures:
- Users should be
selective about how they initially visit a web site. Don't click links
on untrusted web pages or in unsolicited emails. - Disable all scripting languages in web browsers.
- Check out your filter list in gmail settings for any unwanted filters.
- Users should especially safeguard their browsers by installing patches for their browser in a timely manner.
- Web administrators may completely disabled Google Search Application until Google issue a patch to resolve this vulnerability.

A Hidden Feature in Google Earth :Flight Simulator
It is a hidden feature which is going to be a standard feature in new version.
Open Google Earth press Ctrl+Alt+A (Make sure you have Google Earth 4.2) and start flying .You will find a screen appears named Flight Simulator.Choose your aircraft options either a F16 Viper or SR22 4 seater.Joysticks are supported.
